Captain America: The First Avenger is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Captain America. The film stars Chris Evans as Captain America with Joe Johnston directing a script by David Self, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, and Joss Whedon. The movie will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011. The film is scheduled to be released in 3D.
Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Steve Rogers is inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, Rogers gets rejected, but later offered the opportunity to take part in a special experiment called Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers is administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by “vita-rays,” awakening from the treatment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and battle savvy, Captain America embarks on a war against evil.
Sanctum is a 3D action-thriller film. The film was released in Australia on February 3, 2011 and is scheduled to release on February 4, 2011 in the United States. It is directed by Alister Grierson.

Sanctum was inspired by the film's co-writer Andrew Wight's near-death experience of leading a diving expedition miles into a system of underwater caves, then having to find a way out after a freak storm collapsed the entrance. James Cameron executive produced the 3-D drama.
Shot on location at the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, Sanctum employs 3D photography techniques Cameron developed to film Avatar.[citation needed]
Universal Pictures and Relativity Media paid $12 million for rights to distribute the film in the United States and Canada, and in several foreign countries.

After 10 years, the Wes Craven horror franchise is back. Scream 4 is an upcoming slasher film and fourth installment in the Scream series. It was directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson, writer of Scream and Scream 2, and co-writer of Scream 3. It stars an ensemble cast of David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella and Erik Knudsen. Campbell, Arquette and Cox are the only returning main cast members from the previous films.
Originally, the series was intended to be a trilogy, but after ten years Bob Weinstein thought it was time for another film. It is intended to be the first of a new trilogy, with both Craven and Williamson signed on for the duration. Filming began in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan on June 28, 2010 and ended September 24, 2010. It is scheduled to be released on April 15, 2011.

Red Riding Hoodis an upcoming American horror film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson. It is very loosely based on the folk tale Little Red Riding Hood collected by both Charles Perrault under the name "Le Petit Chaperon Rouge" (Little Red Riding Hood) and several decades later by the Brothers Grimm as "Rotkäppchen" (Redcape).
